SETA

Terms of service

Last updated 11 October 2026

Who these terms are with

Fraimie, MBoperates SETA ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between us and the merchant whose Shopify store has SETA installed ("you"). Registered address: Eišiškių pl. 47-312, LT-02184 Vilnius, Lithuania.

A shopper using the try-on on your storefront is not a party to these terms and agrees to nothing here. Before their camera opens they are told, in their own language, that the try-on is generated by artificial intelligence and that their video is never recorded. That notice is the whole of their relationship with SETA.

What SETA is, and how you accept these terms

SETA is a Shopify app with a theme app extension block. Once the block is added to your product template, a shopper can open a try-on on that product and see the garment on themselves, live, through their own camera.

Your store's record is created the first time you open the app in your Shopify admin — installing alone does not create it. Opening the app and continuing to use it is your acceptance of these terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.

What the try-on shows, and what it does not

This is the most important section in this document, and it is short on purpose.

The image a shopper sees is generated by an AI model in real time. It is an approximation of your garment on that person — not a photograph of it, and not a measurement of anything.

How a fabric hangs, folds, stretches, creases, catches light or moves as someone turns is inferred by the model, not observed. Colour, texture, drape, length, proportion and fit can all differ from the real garment, and sometimes the difference is substantial. The model can also simply be wrong, and render a garment in a way that is implausible or incorrect.

SETA is not a sizing or fit tooland must not be presented to shoppers as one. It does not measure the shopper, it is not given your garment's dimensions, and nothing it shows is a prediction of whether an item will fit.

Your size guides, product descriptions, photography and returns policy remain yours and remain necessary — a try-on does not replace them. We are not liable for a return, a refund, a chargeback or a complaint arising from a difference between what the try-on generated and the garment that arrived. See "Liability" below.

You must not remove, obscure or contradict the AI notice shown to shoppers in the try-on window, and you must not describe the try-on to your customers as an accurate or photographic representation of your product.

Your products and your store's images

The garment in a try-on comes from the product images already published on your own product page. There is nothing to upload and nothing to configure product by product: SETA reads that product's gallery, starts from the image you featured, selects the photo that best shows the garment on its own, and sends that one image to our AI provider for the length of that session, together with the product title and category. Nothing else from your store is sent.

Because the reference is your own photograph, what it shows sets the ceiling on what can be generated from it, and that part is yours rather than ours. A photograph of the garment by itself against a plain background produces a materially better try-on than a styled shot of somebody wearing it. What makes a good reference is described on the support page; it is guidance rather than a requirement, and following it is not a promise of any particular result.

By running try-on on a product you confirm that you hold the rights to those images and to have them processed this way. What is on your product pages is your responsibility; we do not review it. You must not use SETA on products or imagery that are unlawful, that infringe someone else's rights, or that are intended to produce sexual or degrading depictions of the person in front of the camera.

We claim no ownership of your product images or of the frames generated from them.

Plans, allowances and what you are charged

  • The unit is one second of generation, not one try-on. Our provider bills GPU time by the second and you choose your own session length, so this is the only unit under which two stores pay the same for the same usage.
  • Seconds are counted when a session ends, from what that session actually used. Nothing is reserved or held against your balance in advance.
  • Your plan's allowance is replaced at the start of each billing period. Unused allowance does not roll over.
  • Where credit packs are offered, seconds bought as a pack are paid for outright and do not expire. They are spent only once the plan allowance for the period is gone, so a pack is never consumed by seconds your plan would have covered.
  • Charging beyond your allowance — extra usage — happens only if you switch it on. When you do, it is priced per second and stops at a monthly limit you choose, which you can raise or lower at any time. Seconds generated past your balance while extra usage is off, or past your limit, are not charged. Stores on the free trial cannot incur it at all.
  • Development and review stores, which Shopify does not charge for a plan, receive a reduced sandbox allowance instead of the plan's, as the app explains on those stores. Subscribing from a live store gives the plan's full allowance.

Every charge — subscription and any extra usage — is created and collected by Shopifyand appears on your normal Shopify invoice. SETA never sees or handles your card, and we cannot charge you outside Shopify's billing system.

Changing your plan, and cancelling

You choose, change and cancel your plan on Shopify's plan page, which the app opens for you. To stop paying, pick the free trial there, or uninstall the app. Shopify bills every change, and your try-on time follows what you are charged:

  • Moving to a larger plan is charged by Shopify as the difference in price for the rest of your current billing period. SETA adds the same share of the larger allowance straight away, and the full allowance from your next renewal.
  • Moving to a smaller plan or the free trialtakes effect at once, and Shopify does not refund the period you have already paid for. You therefore keep the try-on time already granted for that period; the smaller plan's allowance starts at your next renewal, and the free trial does not add any.

A new plan's limits apply immediately. If it has a shorter maximum session, your configured session length is reduced to that plan's ceiling on the next try-on rather than at the end of the period.

A credit pack is a one-time purchase and is not part of the subscription. Changing or cancelling a plan does not refund a pack; its unused seconds stay in your balance until they are used or until you uninstall the app.

The limits your plan sets

Three limits apply to every store, and each is a plan feature rather than a fault:

  • the longest a single try-on may run, which you choose between five seconds and your plan's ceiling
  • how many shoppers may have a try-on open on your store at the same time
  • how many try-ons one shopper may start on your store per day, which you set yourself

A shopper who meets one of these is shown a message saying which, not an error. What each message means is listed on the support page.

Availability, and the other parties involved

SETA is not a self-contained service, and you should understand what a single try-on depends on before you rely on it. Between a shopper pressing the button and seeing themselves, the session passes through:

  • Real-Time AI Video Infrastructure — the cloud AI provider that generates the try-on video stream
  • Vercel — where the application is hosted
  • Supabase— where your store's records are held
  • Shopify — which identifies your store, serves your theme, and handles every payment
  • the shopper's own browser, camera and network connection

Any of these can fail, slow down, refuse a connection or change how it behaves, and when one does the try-on fails with it. Those failures originate outside SETA, we cannot prevent them, and we are not responsible for them. A session that will not start, that drops part-way through, or that produces a poor image is frequently a fault somewhere on that list rather than in this application.

We also stop try-on deliberately from time to time: it can be paused across every store for maintenance, in which case your button reports that try-on is temporarily unavailable and resumes on its own.

SETA is therefore provided as it is. We give no guaranteed uptime and no service-level commitment, and no undertaking that the app is free of faults, that try-on will be available at any particular moment, that a session will complete, or that a generated image will meet any particular standard of quality.

None of that is a reason not to tell us. If something is broken, write to support with your store's .myshopify.comaddress — it is what lets us look at the right store, and a provider's outage still has to be seen from our side before it can be chased.

Suspension, and removing SETA

We may suspend a store's try-on where it is being used in breach of these terms, where a charge has failed, or where we need to protect the service or the shoppers using it. While a store is suspended, try-on refuses to start; the rest of the app stays readable.

Uninstalling SETA from your Shopify admin stops try-on immediately and cancels any subscription. Shopify then asks us to erase your store 48 hours later, and everything belonging to it is deleted at that point — including any remaining plan allowance and any unused credit-pack seconds.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law permits:

  • we are not liable for lost profits, lost or reduced sales, increased returns, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss
  • we are not liable for anything arising from a difference between a generated preview and the real garment, which is the ordinary behaviour of the product described above and not a defect
  • we are not liable for the acts, failures or outages of the third parties named in "Availability"
  • our total liability to you, taken together across all claims, is limited to the greater of $100 and what you paid us for SETA in the twelve months before the claim arose

You remain responsible for your own dealings with your customers, including your product information, your returns handling, and your compliance with the consumer law that applies to your store.

Privacy

What SETA stores about your store, and the rather short list of what it stores about your shoppers, is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use SETA after that is acceptance of the revised terms; if you do not accept them, uninstall the app, and any subscription is cancelled.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of Lithuania, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any statutory protection available to you in the country you trade from.

Your use of Shopify itself, including how it bills you on our behalf, is governed by Shopify's own terms with you and not by this document.
